Hi there, I’m Yolanda!

I am a 31 years old woman, born in Gardner, Massachusetts but raised here in Cincinnati, Ohio all my life. I have two children , a boy and a girl. I have 2 Associate Degrees one in Business Management and one in Business Finance and I am currently finishing a Bachelors of Social and Behavioral Science in Early Childhood Administration.

 

I have worked in the field of education since I was a teenager. I started off in the Children’s Museum as a Child Educator and continued in the education field from that point forward. Now, I have been in the field for almost 14  years. I have been with all ages from Birth to 3rd grade.  My love for children is endless and ever growing. I love to see the light in their eyes when they achieve a new goal or conquer a new task. When they walk into my classroom they become my babies just as much as they are yours and I will love them as I love my own. When you enroll in this program we become one family. The saying goes it takes a village to raise a child well my commitment to you is that I am now a part of your village. 

 

It is my belief that the goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn. Our task is to help the children communicate with the world, discover their own potential, strengths, and languages, and to overcome any obstacle present by culture or what society thinks of them. Children are my passion and I enjoy every moment of helping build the future leaders of tomorrow.

 

This is the path God has given me. This is my purpose in life! I will not shy away from what he has directed my life. Be blessed!
